Tea Party Attack

I am disgusted at what Janeane Garofalo said about those who attended the tea parties across the nation. There was not joking in her voice… not kidding around. Even when Keith was giggling a little at some of her remarks he was met with the most serious of faces. Olbermann did nothing to contradict what she was saying… he did not argue… he did not disagree.

And the insults she handed out to those who are republican, conservative or on the right were outrageous. She generalized everyone who isn’t what she is. It’s sickening for anyone to point their finger at one group and say they are all racist or any other number of evil things. I am not racist… I could care less what you look like in any way. It’s people like Janeane who gives racism life and keeps it breathing loud and strong.

Thanks Janeane for keeping America divided!!

What Are We Fighting For – Tea party

I am attending the TEA PARTY in my area on April 15th to protest the government’s destructive spending of my future grandchildren and their grandchildren’s livelihood.

I am pushing the pitchfork (figuratively) into the air to tell our government that I am against big government and in favor of them getting off my back. We need to be free of oppression and left alone to live our lives with Liberty and Freedom.

Do you remember Schoolhouse Rock?

Bearack Obama – Waiting for a “well deserved” Handout

The photo below captures a trend that is beginning to affect wildlife in the U.S.

Anticipating the Obama stimulus package, animals that were formerly self-sufficient are already modifying their behavior to take advantage of what they expect to be a new set of societal norms in the next four to eight years. This black bear from Montana has ceased hunting for a living and is sitting outside the US Fish & Wildlife Service office in Kalispell, apparently waiting to be fed and to have his winter den dug by government employees.. The residents of Kalispell are calling him Bearack Obama.

AIG Bailout: Where the Anger Lies

The anger lies on so many people that it’s hard to determine who’s really at fault.

Should we be mad at AIG for giving out millions of dollars in bonuses after receiving billions of dollars in bailout money?

Should we instead be mad at the government for giving them such a huge amount of money without a strong detailed ledger for using the money?

Should we be mad at our politicians who are stating they didn’t know that AIG would be giving away bonus money even though there is evidence that AIG told them upfront?

Should we rather just be mad at the government for giving out that money in the first place?

Perhaps we should be mad at the millions of voters who voted for Obama because his administration has so generously decided to spend our great grand children’s money.

Perhaps we should just be mad at all politicians who have either helped to increase the crisis or did nothing to avoid it… no matter who the president happens to be (McCain wanted bailouts as well, although he claimed his would be “different” and therefore, better… even though he wanted an AIG bailout… hmmm).

Gang-Rape Victim to Receive 100 Lashes

LINK: Saudi Judge Sentences Pregnant Gang-Rape Victim to 100 Lashes (broken link)

LINK: Saudi judge sentences pregnant gang-rape victim to 100 lashes for adultery (broken link)

A Saudi judge has ordered a woman should be jailed for a year and receive 100 lashes after she was gang-raped, it was claimed last night.

The 23-year-old woman, who became pregnant after her ordeal, was reportedly assaulted after accepting a lift from a man.

He took her to a house to the east of the city of Jeddah where she was attacked by him and four of his friends throughout the night.

She later discovered she was pregnant and made a desperate attempt to get an abortion at the King Fahd Hospital for Armed Forces.

According to the Saudi Gazette, she eventually ‘confessed’ to having ‘forced intercourse’ with her attackers and was brought before a judge at the District Court in Jeddah.

He ruled she had committed adultery – despite not even being married – and handed down a year’s prison sentence, which she will serve in a prison just outside the city.

She is still pregnant and will be flogged once she has had the child.

Combat Injuries… You Get Em… You Pay For Em

Obama To Combat Vets: Pay for your own treatment.

I read this on David’s site and was immediately irritated and angry. How can we justify paying for illegal immigrants and their ailments and yet we’re actually “considering” not paying for health care for our military for injuries obtained while defending our country and keeping Americans free? How can this even be whispered as a possibility?

Freedom and Liberty

On my short drive to work this morning, this started stewing in my brain. What freedoms are people willing to barter?

For the sake of argument, let’s say that each American has ten freedoms that they have held near and dear to their hearts for as long as can be remembered. Over the years, these freedoms become less and less of a right and more of an expectation. People have forgotten the sacrifices of those that came before them in order to achieve these ten freedoms.
