Lets give the Internet away…

Article Found Here:

What better country to protect the Internet than the United States?

We invented it, and we paid for the research and implementation that made it
possible. We are the freest, most tolerant nation on earth, we believe in the
fundamental right of free speech, and we practice a free market of commerce and ideas.

America has always been against censorship and has shared its invention with the world without fee or unreasonable or arbitrary restriction. The user fee to operate on the Internet is not one paid to the U.S. government; a consumer pays it to private Internet companies, who provide access to the Internet through servers for their subscribers.

Look no further than China’s recent move against Google to censor the
Internet, and you can envision what can happen when other nations less free
than the United States seek to control the Internet beyond even their own borders.

America needs to wake up. If we lose control over the management of the
Internet, we have given away one of our nation’s greatest assets with nothing
in return to show for it.

The Obama administration’s actions will set in motion a slow and complete takeover of the Internet by the United Nations or some other equally U.S.-hostile and unfriendly international body. And once it is gone, it will be gone forever.

The surrender of the Internet will spell disaster for our nation, financially, as well as for safety, security and our standing as a great power that values freedom and the free exchange of ideas and information.

As far as I am concerned, America is still the last best hope for a more
peaceful and prosperous world and our president should not be looking for
ways to weaken us. Rather, his job is to work to strengthen us and protect our nation’s greatest asset our people’s creativity and ingenuity.

Jack Cafferty Rips Obama on Failed Openness Pledge

“What a far cry from the election, when then-candidate Obama pledged to- quote, ‘broadcast health care negotiations on C-SPAN, so that the American people can see what the choices are,’ unquote. President Obama hasn’t even made a token effort to keep his campaign promises of more openness and transparency in government. It was all just another lie that was told in order to get elected.”

Quote by Jack Cafferty, CNN analyst.

Glover and Goldberg

Check out the entire list below of obnoxious quotes!!

40 Most Obnoxious Quotes of 2009 – this link is now broken but see below

29) I write a lot of songs that could be interpreted as big patriotic songs, but in reality they’re questioning the direction the country is going. After every song in Boston, 20,000 people were going, ‘USA, USA.’ I thought, man. I almost asked them to stop, stop doing that. I don’t like it. I don’t like hearing that chant. — John Cougar Mellencamp

36) I know it wasn’t rape-rape. I think it was something else, but I don’t believe it was rape-rape. — Whoopi Goldberg on Roman Polanski’s rape of a 13 year-old girl

37) …the total mindless, morally bankrupt, knee-jerk, fascistic hatred — without which Michelle Malkin would just be a big mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it. — Keith Olbermann

40) But it is really not easy to make fun of the Obamas, because they’re really — they’re kind of really perfect, aren’t they?” — Joy Behar

Breast Cancer Screening – A Truth or a Ploy?

First thing I thought when I heard this new report was “wow… it’s started already”. This is just in time for the national health care Obama’s administration is pushing on us and how better to show health care costs have decreased than to recommend that women don’t get a mammogram for an additional 10 years and then only every other year after that.

Lets see… that’s about $125 a year x 9 years which comes out to $1,125 not spent between 40-49 years of age. Then at age 50 they recommend every other year instead of yearly after that which is about $1125 for those 18 years (50-69). So instead of spending $3,750 per woman, it would be about $1,250 with a supposed savings of $2,500 per woman.

Mr. Obama’s War?

So… do we hope 2012 gets here quickly or do we hope some miracle will happen between now and then? Although, I can’t clearly think of a miracle that can stop this administration other than millions of Americans finally getting together and letting our government know that WE… not them… run this country!

Spiraling into Socialism

Ah yes… Big Brother creeps into our schools with the cheers of the media and the government and the liberal teachers who feel its important to smear any and all presidents (specifically George W Bush) who do not agree with their agenda. They like to say that they are giving the students information from all sides and yet… and yet they lie… surprisingly. They do not give the students anything but what they want them to learn in order to raise themselves up and stamp out their enemies. How do I know? Because I have children and they happen to innocently tell me what they are taught and I am left shocked (although not entirely shocked)… and then I have to give them the rest of the information.

Feel the Burn of Remembering 911

A quote by Rush Limbaugh today…

“I want somebody out there who thinks Obama made a great speech today and Bloomberg echoing it, to tell me how it is that our ‘fractured sense of community service’ led to the ‘crimes’ committed against us on 9/11. And I want to know from you how it is that rekindling this ‘spirit of community service,’ whatever the hell that means, is going to prevent the next attack on this country.” -Rush Limbaugh

I want to share a few thoughts today as I realize just how strong I still feel about what happened… now 8 years ago… and the fact we’re still dealing with it.

Remembering September 11, 2001

It seems there are more and more pictures being created in remembrance of September 11, 2001. People realize that “forgetting” is what leads to reliving history and we must not forget the atrocity that fell upon our country killing thousands of our civilians and sending even more thousands of our men and women to war.

This is a great photo…

Stop Campaigning Obama: Same Speech, Different Subject

Most presidents stop campaigning after being elected. They pick it up again the closer they get to reelection and then let it go again once that is accomplished.

Barack Obama continues to campaign to this day.

Watch him… listen to him… see and hear what he’s actually saying and how he’s saying it. Can he not just speak without sounding like he’s talking down to everyone around him? Can he not speak without sounding like the SAME recording over and over again? He uses the same speech just with different words for whatever new program or vision he’s pushing on us today?

What will an American with nothing to lose do?

When people are comfortable with their lives they don’t typically rock the boat too much. As a matter of fact, they usually let things slide. Work related things, personal things, relationship things, family matters… you know, the usual issues that might bother someone unless they are okay with things enough to let the said issues slide.

The same is true with government. If the government isn’t really doing too much to change a person’s life, that person usually just lets the little stuff slide on passed. They may sit around the table and complain a bit but for the most part, they just shrug their shoulders and say “it isn’t really affecting me much anyway, so I won’t bother to do anything about it”.
