Sucker Punch – a 9/11 poem

Please view the previous post for my other poem written a few years ago. This is the newest one written today and it outlines a bit of what happened that day (for me) and my thoughts then and now.

Remembering 911 – a Murderous Attack

I wrote the poem shown below on September 25, 2007. People tell us (Americans) we need to just let it go, not talk about what happened and just acknowledge that we deserved it.

That is not the place my mind dwells… we did not deserve it. If we look back through history… way back through the decades… we can find the reasons we were attacked and if we study it carefully we can determine that the reasoning coming from those 80 years ago still does not justify what was done.

Keep the Monument to Killing Americans Away from Ground Zero!!

A mosque should not be allowed to be built so close to ground zero. Building one there is the terrorists biggest joke on America since the attack on 9/11/2001. The fact our politicians are not standing up and screaming about this only goes to prove how one track minded they truly are… they let the powerful with agendas hidden to the world dictate what they do just for the joy of reelection.

Racist VS. Bigot – what’s the difference anyway?

An interesting theory… per this article (broken link), only whites (in America) are racists while all others groups are bigots.

Guilt is the Freedom Killer

Don’t let others kill your freedom by pushing your “guilt” hot button. Politicians scrounge around, they dig into your physic trying desperately to determine what makes you feel guilty. If you tend to feel a little uneasy around certain groups of people, that will be what makes you feel guilty. It could be religion, race, sexuality, body size, environment, disabilities, personal expression, nationality, income, employment, personal associations… it could be any number of different aspects of life that you feel differently about than others who hold an agenda to control you.

Remember… it is their job to keep us divided and they know guilt is the freedom killer.

American Thinker: A Shrink Asks: What’s Wrong with Obama?

LINK: American Thinker: A Shrink Asks: What’s Wrong with Obama?

Hm… this is interesting. One of the things I commented on during the election was the fact I felt that Obama has an anger problem. I have no real basis for it other than he always seems to be controlling himself in a manner that isn’t exactly natural to him. He, at times, seems unnecessarily sensitive to issues that don’t require it and then insensitive to issues that demand it.

It’s amazing though how often instinct is right… how often a feeling inside can really tell us what is true even if we don’t understand it instantly.

Congressman Bob Etheridge (D-NC) Assaults Student

Ah yes… who are YOU Congressman Etheridge? You sound belligerent as you assault a young man who has every right to ask you questions. Sorry, but you have chosen to become a politician… you’re going to be interviewed from time to time even when you’re not READY for it.

They act so different when asked a question that is a positive towards their own agenda… and apparently assault people if they happen to have a real question that might show them for what they truly are.

Check this out.

Here’s another video you may find interesting from Newsy.com giving this incident a different view while looking at the way different news outlets look upon the same issue. I do find it interesting how so many reporters, bloggers, etc. can have so many different opinions on the same subject. Thanks for the heads-up Newsy!

It’s My Back Pocket, Mr. Obama

Gosh Mr. President… when HAVE I made enough money?

Does it matter if he’s speaking of Wall Street or an American individual? No… he feels that at some point a person has enough money… or a company… or another organization. In America a person or company can make as much or as little money as they want or are capable of doing.

The issue here, Mr. President, is that you want to take away money from us when YOU feel we’ve hit the ceiling of our limits of earning power. It’s my back pocket… not yours.

Michelle Malkin…. The Crashers: they came, they saw, they failed.

This dude has his little sign to make the tea partiers look bad but look out… they were prepared for you.

Check out the signs behind him… “INFILTRATOR… THIS PERSON IS NOT WITH US” and “THIS PERSON IS NOT IN OUR GROUP”.

Sean Penn Wants Reporters Jailed

I don’t believe I’ve ever been a fan of Sean Penn but his recent comments really put him miles above the rest when it comes to the “dislike” button in my brain. He’s clearly a very bitter man who hates the world and feels his views are far superior to others and that he knows what is right while everyone else must be wrong.
