I’m tired of all the President Bush bashing. I’m sick or it! I hate it! And I think those people who spend a majority of their time doing it, should take a look at their own personal lives before attempting to tell people how to run the country.
Perhaps they actually think they themselves are perfect and would do a better job than Bush… or maybe they believe they would have put a stop to that sick bastard Saddam in some other “politically correct” fashion.
I think that if these people spent even half the time on their own internal issues, they actually may be able to come close to being perfect. Doubtful… but maybe close.
When I hear people saying that they wish President Bush was dead… I get a knot in my stomach. Wishing another person was dead because they are a rapist or murderer is one thing… wishing a man dead because he isn’t running the country in some other way is asinine.
And NO… I do not believe Bush is a murder because we went to war. That’s ridiculous. How many people did the war in Iraq actually SAVE? How many more people would have died if Saddam was allowed to continue to control that country? Does that even matter to people?
I hear people on the television and radio getting pissed off at Bush because he caused us to go to war and innocent people on all sides had to die.
First of all… it isn’t Bush who caused us to go to war. Second… it was not only Bush who made the decision to go to war. There were other countries involved in this situation.
And yes… innocent people died and yes… it’s a tragedy. But how many more innocent women, children, grandparents and fathers had to die because of Saddam’s rule? Were we to just wait around another 15 years until the next time he became more powerful?
