So Many Threats to America

Outside threats

Ah… but we don’t want to talk about outside threats to America… people may actually wake up and realize that their sweet little homes aren’t quite as protected as they thought.

Internal Threats

And yet… the Dems (and others) want to take away our guns so we can’t protect ourselves against U.S. criminals let alone foreign ones.

RADARSITE: A bill to register and confiscate your firearms! (broken link)

The liberals are at it again. In a new bill introduced the first day of present session of Congress, and with zero coverage from the MSM, H.R. 45 (Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009) targets all gun owners in the U.S.A.

Educational Threats

Universities are by far some of the worst organizations to teach Americans educational knowledge. An oxymoron, you say? Perhaps. There are some universities of “education” that really should put out fliers stating that they are anti-conservative or anti-Jew or pro-Muslim or whatever it is they feel compelled to stand behind from one day to another. I really don’t care what a person’s religion is but our government and places like these universities or even public malls are creating anger in our society where it did not exist (or at least wasn’t prominent). They bow down to the religious needs of one or two particular groups but push aside the needs of others.

I have always been of the belief that either you provide for all or you provide for none. If these universities can not stand behind the rights of all students organizations, then they should abolish all of them.

RADARSITE: San Jose State students disrupt speech by Israeli diplomat (broken link)

It is with much consternation and alarm that I am writing to inform you about the unfortunate event that happened on our campus on Thursday evening in the Student Union. Akiva Tor, Consul General of Israel and honored guest of the student group Spartans for Israel, was verbally abused and forcibly driven from the stage by anti-Zionist hecklers. […] Tor had to be escorted out of the room by a phalanx of security officers and campus policemen. It is outrageous that a foreign diplomat of a free and democratic nation was denied his free speech rights on our campus and mistreated in such an abhorrent manner. […] Prominent among the demonstrators were members of the MSA and the off-campus group South Bay Mobilization (some of whose leaders met with Hamas on Aug. 24 and were present at the event!).[…]

Threats of Hatred

The further threat to divide our country into groups and create hatred, which in turn leads to backstreet wars. Racism… or at least the perceived belief that everyone must hate someone else because of race because that’s just the way people are.

What upsets me to no end is how people search out for causes… they look into the history books and try desperately to uncover something to be angry about; something to protest. Granted… slavery was a bad thing… it truly was. Slavery does not exist in our country (at least not legally) today and we have laws that state that every human citizen have equal rights and RESPONSIBILITIES. At least we SHOULD all have the same responsibilities. Lately, however, it seems that we don’t all have to live up to our potential because the government will make amends (or at least some people want the government to make amends) for things that happened hundreds of years ago.

I am quite certain that if I search back far enough into my family’s history, I will be able to find some sort of suppression against us. If we begin to allow our government to start paying people off just because something bad happened somewhere in their past (actually, not “their” past, but instead the past of their great, great, great grandparents of whom they have never met and probably, in some cases, don’t know anything about) then we will be paying off people forever and other countries will have to start doing the same thing. Not only will America fall into financial ruins (HA! that’s a joke) but other countries may end up with the same fate.

I would like to make note here that I do not know first hand the horrors of slavery… but I would also like to state that no other American can say that they DO know the horrors. We only know history and perceived emotions and facts. None of us have ever experienced slavery from America’s past and anyone who points their finger at someone who is not a descendant of a black slave and states that they can not feel what it was like and yet somehow the person pointing DOES know what it is like, is being dishonest and manipulative. You can not know any more than I can know.

We can not keep saying sorry over and over again. It becomes blackmail after a time and eventually is no longer meaningful. If we are forced to apologize for things so far into the past that no one can touch the events with their memory, then it loses it’s true meaning. It no longer is about the evil of slavery but instead is replaced with the evil of greed.

RADARSITE: It was going to happen sooner or later. (broken link)

H.R. 40: Commission to Study Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act
To acknowledge the fundamental injustice, cruelty, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery in the United States and the 13 American colonies between 1619 and 1865 and to establish a commission to examine the institution of slavery, subsequently de jure and de facto racial and economic discrimination against African-Americans, and the impact of these forces on living African-Americans, to make recommendations to the Congress on appropriate remedies, and for other purposes.

It is strange that a person who never was a slave, whose parents and grandparents were never slaves, whose great-grandparents were never slaves would get money from the government for slavery to their ancestor (providing they can prove that their ancestor was a slave). This is absurd. To get money for what happened to your ancestor will open the flood gates in every nation. I could sue the Egyptians for what they did to my ancestors (a couple of million dollars would compensate me nicely). How about a listing of those people who can sue nations for what was done to their ancestors.

1. Jews suing Italy for the destruction of the Temple by Titus in 70 CE. He even wrote to the Roman Senate bragging about it.
2. The French suing Italy for Julius Caesar’s invasion of Gaul 58-50 BCE. Caesar did a real number on them.
3. The British suing Italy for the Roman invasion of their nation in 43 AD by Emperor Claudius.
4. The Romanians could sue Italy for the invasion of Dacia (Romania) by Trajan in 101 CE.
5. Italy could sue Spain and Portugal for the sacking of Rome by the Visigoths.
6. France could sue every Muslim nation for the invasion in 732 CE.
7. Armenians suing the government of Turkey for the Armenian Genocide of 1915. At least they have some survivors of the genocide still alive.

I could go on. During each of these historical events free men, women and children were forced into slavery. Yet they recovered and thrived.

The last time the US gave reparations to a group was to the men and women who were interred in Interment Camps during WW2, not to their descendants. At this time in the history of the US it is time we move away from this idea. We cannot afford it, and it will do nothing but anger the majority of Americans who don’t want to even consider reparations to people who did nothing but be born to a family that once were slaves. It is just wrong.

Threats to the Family

Al Gore telling students they don’t need to listen to their parents because they don’t know things that the kids know is one of the greatest threats to the family unit. The last thing a child needs is to think they know more than mom and dad… that will lead to disaster in all realms of the word. If a child is already having problem with rules… legitimate rules like not drinking or doing drugs or hurting other children or having unprotected sex… or rules like doing his chores or paying attention in school or being nice to other people… if he’s already having problems with the basics, how do you think he will react now that a “famous” dude has come to his school and told him that his parents are idiots?

Note: I have mixed feelings about paying attention in school any more. It’s sad because I truly want to say to my son that he needs to listen to the teacher because she will only tell him facts and truths about the world. This is becoming a false hope on my part. It’s difficult to say “listen to your teacher because she only tells you truth” and then saying “well, that part she told you was actually not something we believe in”. Now I look the fool because I’m putting exceptions into my original statement. Either way I am now looking like I don’t know what I’m talking about or sway from one decision to the other on a whim.

Gore to 12 year olds: ‘you know things older people don’t know’: listen to the actual audio here!!

GORE: But I’m thinking back now a long way to when I was your age and the civil rights movement was unfolding. And we kids asked our parents and their generation, “Explain to me again why it’s okay for the law to officially discriminate against people because of their skin color.” And parents try to tell their kids the right thing, you know, usually. I do. And when our parents’ generation couldn’t answer that question, that’s when the law started to change. There are There are some things about our world that you know that older people don’t know.

You really should listen to this whole speech because he goes on to use an example of finding out that the Earth was round as a way to show that older people don’t know what they’re talking about and that the youth are the ones to find the truth. He also talks about burning oil, etc. He even mentions that the planet has a fever again. He goes on and on and it really does bore the tears out of the children while at the same time causing them great fear in what they are supposedly doing to the environment.

Again… it’s all about making Americans feel guilty

Al Gore claimed in this audio that our over dependence on carbon based fuels (oil and coal) is the reason for the economic crisis, the wars and the climate crisis. He then claims we must go to solar and wind power to solve it all.

This is what other countries teach their children:
What Hamas teaches the children of Gaza (broken link)
