Violence Down in Baghdad

Did you know that the number of dead bodies reported by the morgue in Baghdad has been about 10… compared to 40 or 50 per day? Did you know that this proves there is less terror and killing in Baghdad? Did you know there is a reduction in overall violence due to increased U.S. and Iraqi security? Did you know that extremists are sitting back and watching to see what we do and how we are going to do it?

Did you also know that if we suddenly pull everyone out that all of the above will change… that violence and death will sky rocket?

Just thought I would mention it. Of course, if we keep it the way it is and don’t surge again with more, they will probably get used to what we have there now and things will go backwards anyway.

I don’t think so; things have improved because the citizens of Iraq have begun to turn in suspected terrorists. And why suddenly do they, the citizens, feel emboldened to do this you ask? Because America in this regard has suddenly shown that we have the courage of conviction enough to give it our best and to stay until a democratic Iraq emerges.
At least until the next election.
