I have received regular emails from the White House for years since 2013 with over 874 of them save in my archives. These go clear back to Obama and throughout Trump’s presidency.
The last email I received from Obama using the WH email account was on January 19, 2017 which was his farewell speech.
The last email I received from Trump was on December 24, 2020 wishing America a Merry Christmas.
President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump wish all Americans a Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season. Despite the challenges posed by this year’s global pandemic, the American people continue to display incredible courage and patriotism.
The bond that unites us as citizens is stronger than any adversity we face. As of this month, doses from two new Coronavirus vaccines are now being administered to Americans across the country. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the strength and ingenuity that defines the American spirit.
“We are grateful for all of the scientists, researchers, manufacturing workers, and service members who have worked tirelessly to make this breakthrough possible,” President Trump said. “It is truly a Christmas miracle.”
The President and First Lady thank our first responders, law enforcement officers, doctors, nurses, and many others who made sacrifices this year to keep Americans safe. “Through this great challenge, we have been inspired by the kindness and courage of citizens across this country,” the First Lady said.

We all know how social media blocked all communication from Trump in January after the electoral college vote count. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. They all prevented him from reaching out to Americans, even to tell them to remain calm. They used misinformation to violate his freedom of speech.
It does not explain, however, why the last email sent was on Christmas Eve. I find that odd and wonder if it was an intentional decision made by the WH or if the emails just didn’t get to me. That also does not make sense considering the years and years of them that I have received.
So, can you guess what happened a short time after the inauguration of Biden?
The emails started up again only this time from the Biden White House. I will continue to receive them as they are an awesome way to either 1) see what accomplishments are made or 2) see how bad things are messed up! I expect the latter.
